It is our goal and policy to provide the highest quality products available. However, our products are intended for use in a racing environment, and therefore no warranty can be expressed or implied. Powersport Grafx is not responsible for product failure due to improper installation, normal wear, or damage. Graphics are a wear item, and replacement will be required after a period of normal use.  Some trimming may be required due to inherent differences in plastic manufactured by non-OEM suppliers.

*Note: PG offers graphics pre-installed on new plastic. See product page for details.

Dry Installation Tips
Thank you for purchasing your backgrounds from Powersport Grafx. We work hard to manufacture the best product for your application. Please take your time and read these instructions carefully.

• Clean the surface completely with a solvent such as brake cleaner, carburetor cleaner, or contact cleaner ONLY!

. Leave no residue or oils. The surface must be clean.

• Trim the backing paper from around the perimeter of the background.

• Trial fit the background on the area that is to be applied. Make note of holes and curves and align accordingly.

• Begin by peeling the backing paper away at the top of the background. Peel appx. 1" and then check your alignment. Don't be afraid to fold the backing paper. Apply the top portion to the plastic.

• Once you have proper alignment, begin peeling the backing paper away while working the background into the plastic. You can use a small squeegee or even your fingers to do this.

• Watch for bubbles or wrinkles! If this is a problem, pull the background back slowly and work on that area. Reapply.

• Repeat 2 more times!

Wet Installation Tips
• Clean the surface completely with a solvent such as brake cleaner, carburetor cleaner, or contact cleaner ONLY!

• You can install these graphics with a wetting solution of soapy water. This method may NOT work on some side panels with complex curves (YZF’s and CRF’s).

• Add approximately 2 drops of liquid soap to 16 ounces of water. If you don’t know what liquid soap is, then go under the sink in the kitchen and look for a bottle marked “dishwashing liquid”. Be extra careful not to let anyone see you looking in this spot or it could lead to all sorts of unpleasant tasks. Oh, you can also use decal application fluid.

• Spray this solution onto your plastic and then onto the adhesive side of the graphic.

• Place the wet graphic onto the plastic and float the graphic into place.

• Take a plastic squeegee or other like device and squeegee the water out from between the graphic and the plastic.

• Take extra care to push all of the water out while leaving no bubbles.

• You should wait 24 hours before riding to allow all of the moisture to evaporate.

• Put “liquid soap” back where you found it.
